I am a Brighton based photographer covering Sussex, London and the South East.
My experience includes regional news, PR, documentary, portraiture, sport and events. I have a particular focus on working with charities.
I was recently awarded two first prizes in the One Planet City documentary photography competition. You can read more about it in my blog.
My accomplishments include working as a Press Photographer with the Isle of Wight County Press (see the Tear Sheets section to look at my work); working with the Royal British Legion on their social media campaign to celebrate the 70th anniversary of VE Day and with the Spinal Injuries Association to document their work in hospitals.
Before becoming a photographer I worked in marketing, managing high profile communications campaigns across the private, public and charity sectors. This included two years as Marketing Executive at Metro Newspaper UK and three years in the Department for Transport as Marketing Manager, and then Press Officer.
I now work on a freelance and contract basis for charities including the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and the Back Up Trust. You can read more about this in the Services section.
What this means for my photography clients is that I understand what you're looking for when you commission a photographer, because I've been there! I understand how to convey a message with my photographs that will fit your brand, your story, your campaign.
I have a Diploma in Professional Photography from the Photography Institute.
I hope you enjoy browsing my portfolio and if you'd like to have a no obligation chat about working with me, drop me a line on firstname.lastname@example.org or 07769 925410.
